FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything about LawgiSkill, skills, the MCP connector, plans and compliance.

Which AI assistants are supported?
Any client supporting the open MCP standard. As of 2026: any client supporting the open Model Context Protocol. No vendor lock-in.
What is a skill?
A skill is a bundle of structured legal instructions loaded into your AI assistant (ZIP file). It tells the AI how to reason legally in a specific domain (e.g. Belgian tax law).
Do your servers receive my personal data?
No. The MCP connector routes no personal data. It authenticates your licence via a technical token, then executes queries on public databases.
Is LawgiSkill an AI system under the EU AI Act?
No. LawgiSkill is a platform of structured legal content and research tools. The publisher is neither provider nor deployer of an AI system under Regulation 2024/1689.
What if the AI hallucinates?
LawgiSkill strongly reduces this risk by connecting the AI to official sources with mandatory citation instructions. But no AI is infallible. You remain the responsible professional for final verification.
Can I try before buying?

How do I get support?
contact@lawgi.tech. Response time: 48h (Starter) or 24h priority (Pro/Full Access).
How is LawgiSkill different from Doctrine, Dalloz or Belgian solutions (GenIA-L, Jura)?
Doctrine, Dalloz and LexisNexis — like GenIA-L (Larcier-Intersentia, on Strada lex) and Jura (Wolters Kluwer) in Belgium — are closed platforms built on proprietary editorial content. LawgiSkill equips your AI assistant with real-time access to official public sources, with traceable citations. Both approaches can coexist. See the detailed comparison.
Which jurisdictions are covered?
Seven jurisdictions: Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — legislation, case law, company registers and official publications.
How do I install LawgiSkill with Claude?
Four steps: (1) subscribe and receive an MCP token by email; (2) add the connector in claude.ai (Settings > Connectors); (3) install the provided skill ZIPs; (4) ask your legal questions — the skill automatically selects the relevant MCP tools.
